THE PROBLEM: To allow a patient with only very minimal movement of the head to change tv channels independantly.
THE SOLUTION: a universal TV controller was opened and lead wires ( carefully ) soldered to the appropiate contact points for "channel up" . These were led to a standard buddy switch. (The switch could also be homemade...see pressure switch ). The controller is mounted on a universal swivel joint so it can be pointed at the TV and that joint is on a bracket that fits to the bed rail and is held there with a velcro strap.
