Problem: The client has limited use of one arm only, and had difficulty in operating her speaker-phone.
Solution: A variety of supports were tried, but it was difficult to find the optimum arrangement. More adjustment was always needed. The latest one is shown here. Vertical adjustment is provided by clamping the frame with hose clips to vertical copper pipes that are mounted to the wall. Adjustment to pitch (up/down motion of the bottom of the phone ) is provided by pivoting the wood mounting base piece around the horizontal 3/4" copper tube at its top edge. Adjustment to yaw (rotation about a vertical axis) is provided by supporting the 3/4" copper tube from a vertical 1/2" threaded rod that is passes through a part of the copper frame like a king pin.
