THE PROBLEM: This person was required to wear ankle/foot braces at all times and therefore could not use conventional swim fins for scuba diving and snorkeling.
THE SOLUTION: The device shown above required only minor adaptation to reinforce the braces. The pin and velcro connection allowed for quick and installation. By simply undoing the velcro the fins hinge on the pins, swing back and allow walking.
