THE PROBLEM: Keeping your feet off the floor after you have removed the foot rests from your wheel chair to avoid striking door jams and walls when moving around in your chair at home.
THE SOLUTION: Obtain about 42 inches of strong nylon strap (similar to that found on luggage) and wood dowelling that will fit into the hollow part of the wheel chair foot fastener. Cut the dowelling to fit each opening. Attach the strap with a screw to the top of each dowel.
