The Shower Chair

THE PROBLEM:  This heavy, wheelchair bound individual wanted the have more control and privacy in taking a shower. Nothing on he market would supply adequate support and also give him access to wash his entire body.

THE SOLUTION:  This very sturdy chair is build of hard wood (legs) and marine plywood. It is built to support several hundred pounds and yet is open enough to allow washing "all over". It is painted with several coats of very water resistant "bilge" paint and firmly anchored to the shower floor. With the aid of gripping bars transfer to and from a wheelchair is possible without assistance.
