THE PROBLEM: this child, with CP, loved to play in the sand but needed the sandbox at table height
THE SOLUTION: The table, approximately 2 X 3 feet is set at a height such that his chair just slides under. The 4 inch sides contain the sand but the center of the front wall is reduced to 2 inches to give him better access. Several coats of marine varnish and a snug fitting lid allow the box to be left outdoors
