THE PROBLEM: To provide a portable, light weight device that allowed a person,with limited upper body strength to change position in bed.
THE SOLUTION: the device was built from the strong but lightweight expandable tubing used in clothes closets. Quick release pins allow a vertical range from 3-4 feet and width range from 3-5 feet. The foldable legs are made of tough Lexan plastic. A canvas strap is pulled up tight across the underside of the bed to make the whole unit stable. For travel, everything fits in a lightweight canvas carring case, as shown.
