THE PROBLEM: My wife,who has M.S. must be lifted byelectric hoist, making it almost impossible to dress her.
THE SOLUTION: I have invented ladies knickers, cut down the side seams and overlocked, then rejoined by three strips of Velcro each side. To fit, lift by hoist, lay flat the knickers like an open child's nappy, lower onto them, remove lifting sling and bring up the sides of the knickers and rejoin sides. Result, one lady with her dignity restored and a better quality of life. I hope this idea helps other carers?
