THE PROBLEM: This delightful child is ready to learn to ride a two wheel bicycle. She had a right arm about 3" shorter than her left and limited use of her right hand.
THE SOLUTION: First the gear shift and rear brake were moved from the right to the left handlebar. Then on the right handlebar a 3" intention was built as shown in the photo. At the top of that extension is a small ball and a padded platform on a swivel providing both assistance in gripping and wrist support.
