The Problem: Standard aluminum cane has small diameter slippery plastic handle. (I think it is made that way for easy cleaning in a hospital setting.)
The Solution: Wrap handle with standard tennis racquet handle tape. This allows better grip even if the palm is sweaty and helps those with arthritis because the diameter of the handle is greater. I made one for my grandmother and all her friends love it. It is good on walker handles, too.
