THE PROBLEM: This gentleman with limited arm and hand motor control until now required assistance in getting food from his plate and wanted more independence in eating.
THE SOLUTION: The plate shown has upright "fences" and "end Walls with Corners" that allow him to pick up items with his fingers and capture food in the corners of the end wall. The uprights were shaped from lexan plastic and attached with stainless steel screws.
