THE PROBLEM: The client wanted to be able to continue her hobby of sewing. But her sewing machine has the standard foot-operated speed controller, and she has lost the use of her legs.
THE SOLUTION: She made a small net of straps that holds the controller under her chin like a pendant. She controls the speed of the machine by lowering and raising her chin. Her view of her work is not impeded, and she can still use both hands to manoeuvre the materials.
This principle could be used for the operation of any type of switch or lever
