THE PROBLEM: Various medical conditions can result in a child having disproportionate body shape making the use of commercially available bikes and trikes difficult
THE SOLUTION: Here are examples of easially adapted bikes and trikes. In this case to accommodate much shorter arms and legs the frame is cut and rewelded to bring the pedals and seat much closer together, the stroke ( top pedal to bottom pedal is shortened to 4 inches from the standard 8 inches and handle bars have extenders to bring them to the desired location.
